Ingredients
2Cangarbanzo beans (drained and rinsed)
1⁄2Cuptahini (well blended)
1⁄3Cupwater (warm)
1⁄3Cupolive oil
3Tablespoonlemon juice
4Clovegarlic (or more)
1 1⁄2Teaspoonsalt
2Teaspooncumin
1Pinchpepper
Instructions

Rinse and drain garbanzo beans well. 

Combine lemon juice and water in a small bowl.

Whisk together lemon juice and tahini in another bowl.

Set aside 2 tablespoons of garbanzo beans for garnish and place the remainder in a food processor with garlic, cumin, and salt.  Process for about 15 seconds.  Scrape down the bowl with a spatula.  Then with the machine running, slowing add lemon juice mixture in feed tube.  Scrape down bowl again and let machine run for about 60 seconds.  Then with machine still running, add tahini mixture to the feed tube.  When all this mixture has been added, continue to process for 15 seconds. 

Place hummus in bowl, cover with plastic wrap and place in the fridge for at least 30 minutes. 

Remove from fridge, sprinkle with reserved garbanzo beans, and drizzle with olive oil.  Serve with crackers and sliced vegetables.
